Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta


1 lb. pasta
1 cup cooked chicken breast cut up or shredded
1 cup ham chunks
1 1/2 cups milk
8oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tblsp dried, minced onion
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
cayenne pepper
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter


1. cook pasta according to package directions
2. drain and add chicken and ham and toss evenly
3. preheat broiler
4. in medium saucepan, combine milk, cream cheese and onion and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until it becomes smooth (about 5 minutes)  Season with salt and pepper and cayenne pepper to taste. Add to pasta and then stir in Swiss cheese.
5. transfer to a baking dish and top with bread crumbs and melted butter then put under the broiler until brown (4 - 5 minutes)
