Honey Chicken
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. Chicken of your choice (I am using breasts)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 onion, chopped fine
1/4 cup ketchup
2 Tbs. veg oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Crock Pot Directions:
Season both sides of chicken with salt and pepper and put in crock pot. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over chicken. Cook on low 4 hours or high 2 hours. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and return to pot to toss with sauce. Serve over rice.
Oven Directions:
Dice chicken into bite size pieces, season with salt and pepper and put in 9x13 dish. Pout sauce over and cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes - stirring 1/2 way through the cooking process. Serve over rice.
