Not Your Average Bacon Burger

Ingredients:

12 oz package of bacon
2 lbs lean hamburger
1/2 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
salt and pepper

hamburger buns
your favorite cheese (I like Blue on my burger)
tomatoes
lettuce etc....

Directions:

Simmer the bacon in a shallow pan with 1 cup water until fully cooked. It takes about 15 minutes. It will be light in color and really drippy and soggy - not very appetizing looking. Cut the cooked bacon in to small pieces.

Mix bacon, BBQ sauce and salt and pepper in to hamburger.

Form in to patties.

Grill.

Eat. Yum.
