Onion Chicken Nuggets

1 pouch onion soup mix
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/8 tsp pepper
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1 inch pieces or in strips)
2 T margarine, melted

Crush soup mix in pouch. Combine soup mix with bread crumbs and pepper. Beat egg and a little water together. Stir chicken pieces in egg mixture. Lift out and shake in bread crumb mixture. Pour out onto cookie sheet sprayed with nonstick spray. Separate pieces and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 400 for 15 min. If the chicken is in strips it may take a little longer.

This recipe serves 4.
