Zuppa Tuscana

1 lb. sausage ( I use hot)
1 lb. cooked and chopped bacon
1 onion, chopped
4 med. Potatoes, sliced
1 bunch kale, cleaned and chopped
1 quart ½ and ½
3 to 4 cans chicken broth
2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
1 cup grated parmesan cheese

Brown the bacon and sausage, drain and set aside. Cook onion until translucent. Add chicken broth and bring to boil. Add sliced potatoes, bacon, and sausage. Boil 5-7 minutes. Add chopped kale and Italian seasoning. Cook at a small boil for 25 minutes. Add ½ and ½ and parmesan. Bring up to temperature and serve.
