Tender and Tangy Spare Ribs

2 - 4 lbs country style pork ribs
1 cup vinegar
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp. mustard
1 tsp. paprika

Brown ribs on all sides in a large skillet or Dutch oven with lid. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and mix. Pour over browned ribs. Cook on medium-low heat for 2 - 21/2 hours.

This recipe also works in a crock pot - cook all ingredients on low for 8 - 10 hours.
