Randi's white chicken chili

1/4 cup oil
1 large onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
2 cups frozen corn
1 can creamed corn
2 cups cooked, diced chicken
4 oz can diced green chilies
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1 can butter beans
salt to taste
1 cup half and half

In saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil, until onion is transparent.
Stir in frozen corn, chicken, and chilies. Saute for 2-3 min.
Combine the rest of the ingredients, except for the half and half.
Let simmer for 1/2 hour to 45 min. then add half and half and heat through.

Jiffy corn muffin mix, prepared
1 yellow cake mix, prepared
