Taco Salad

1 lb. ground beef
1 can mexican stewed tomatoes
8 oz. velveeta
1 small onion
1 can kidney beans
1 small can sliced olive
salt and pepper to taste
1 bag tortilla chips
1 head of lettuce

garnishes: sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, avocado, etc.

Brown ground beef with onion. Salt and pepper to taste. Add drained kidney beans, stewed tomatoes, velveeta, and olives. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mix is heated through. I serve it individually so that we can eat the leftovers. Put chips and lettuce on a plate. Add the meat mixture and garnishes.
